Adobe Restaurant

About

The Adobe Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and evening cocktails. Originally the Wrigley Mansion’s barn, the Adobe restaurant is an iconic property to Phoenix, Arizona. Lining the interior walls are past President’s photographs, such as John F. Kennedy, and celebrities like Clark Gable, all of whom have frequented this historic property. To honor this tradition, General Manager Jim Gallen boasts a traditional menu with a contemporary twist to give every guest a great culinary experience.

Jim Gallen, General Manager

Originally from New Jersey, Gallen brings more than 32 years of restaurant business experience to the Adobe Restaurant.  Formally trained at culinary school on the east coast, Gallen moved to Arizona in 1988 where he worked as a chef at the Boulders until 1995.  During his tenure at the Boulders, Gallen met friend Mark Tarbell whom he later went to work for at Phoenix’s legendary Tarbell’s neighborhood bistro from 1997-2011, following a two-year stint as the Director of Restaurants at the Peaks Resort in Telluride, CO.
